Our involvement with the financial sector has included significant work in the regulatory and compliance fields, the provision of Interim Financial Directors and Project Accountants. We also provide change experts, either to develop new channels to market or to manage both the business and technology impacts of acquisitions, mergers and restructurings.

Compliance
We were appointed by a major brand in the credit card industry to provide the Programme Management and team to implement Europe-wide compliance levels and processes for SOx. We are also active in Basel 2 and in the emerging Solvency 2 marketplace, where we work both with regulatory entities and corporate clients.
Governance
We built a 'Centre of Excellence' in Programme, Project and Change Management capability for a Luxembourg-based financial business. The centre comprised the delivery of a proven, compliant Project Management methodology, a strategic development and delivery capability and Project Governance processes to support the brand. In addition, in order to ensure that the centre and its benefits were sustainable, internal staff were coached to anticipate and deal with further continual change. Additionally we introduced an executive sponsorship capability to support all developments to ensure the fit with the company's strategic vision.
Company Mergers/Restructuring
We have provided Programme Support for the data migration programmes, for example within a financial services environment involving the mergering of two players within the UK marketplace. The assignment required extensive knowledge of mergers and restructuring together with more specialist domain knowledge of ATM management and similar products and services. The work also required strong third party management skills, effective project status reporting, and the development and documentation of migration plans.
